It’s essential to understand how much power is delivered from the grid to your home. It is also critical to understand your current electrical service size and your new electrical demand that is needed if installing heavy loads.
We look at each individual breaker’s ampacities and do a series of load calculations based on engineering to determine if you’re exceeding the allowable ampacity of the main breakers.
For example, if you have a 100-amp main breaker, you can only draw 80% of the ampacity of the 100amps of power for all your appliances, equipment, EV Charging systems, and pool, among many other electrical demands.
Based on calculations, if the electrical demand is greater than 80% at any given time, it is required by code to increase the size of the electrical service. We provide extremely high-quality workmanship, and we are reasonably priced. Panel ratings are 100, 125, 150, 200, 225, and 400-amps for residential applications.
